The HealthReach Food Monitoring consists of an analysis of your current diet, lifestyle & current health by one of our nutritionists and drawing up a meal plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.
After completing a food diary or nutritional questionnaire, a Public Health Nutritionist will analyse your current diet. By doing so they can offer many detailed nutritional recommendations based on your health goals. Common health issues addressed this way include:
- Weight management
- Cholesterol management
- Inflammatory conditions i.e. sore muscles and joints
- Cancer and cardiovascular risk management
- Blood sugar balance
- Continual tiredness and lethargy etc.
In addition to these recommendations, a 4 week healthy eating plan, specifically designed around your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) can help achieve your health goals.
Your Basal Metabolic Rate is calculated by a ‘Bioimpedance Analyser’ – a quick, pain free test that calculates your:
- Percentage body fat
- Body fat in kg
- Target weight
- Lean muscle mass in kg
- Your optimal target weight for health
- Your hydration status
- Your Basal Metabolic Rate.
You will receive calorie controlled recipes for a 4 week healthy eating plan. Your plan will include specific advice about cholesterol and blood pressure lowering foods, foods for asthma management, tackling a ‘sweet-tooth’, addressing carbohydrate cravings, eating out etc. as relates to your specific health concerns.
